• Nominees for the award must be the first author (lead author) of the accepted abstract.

• Awardees will be required to submit a valid document for proof of age.

• Nominees for the award must be the presenting author of an accepted abstract.

The KGFID Award (Korean Gastroenterology Fund for Integrated Development) sponsored by Korea Research Foundation of Internal Medicine will be recognized along with the Best Abstracts and Best Presentations among the accepted abstracts for oral presentation.

KDDW Contribution Award

• 10 awardees will be selected after abstract review by the scientific committee.

Eligibility

• Nominees for corresponding authors who have submitted and accepted many abstracts.
• Nominees for corresponding authors must complete their registration.

• Send the accepted abstract list to the KDDW 2026 secretariat.

• 20 accepted abstracts will be selected after abstract review by the scientific committee.

• 1 recipient is eligible for each selected abstract.

Eligibility

※ To be eligible for the grant, applicants need to meet both criteria below:

• Applicants must be from a country listed on the “DAC List of Aid Recipients” classified by the OECD.
• Only Trainee/Resident/Nurse/Technician/Student/Others category can apply.

※ Additional criteria by application type

• Applicants without abstract submission must submit the required documents.
  (Application Form, CV, and Recommendation Letter)
• Applicants with abstract submission must be born on or after January 1, 1981.
